Overall

I had very bad experience with this restaurant. Food tastes ok but the service is horrible. The service team is horrible, the food is served cold. They missed my entree and I had to come empty stomach and felt really bad taking my friends here. When I called the manager to talk about missing my entree Mr. Deepak, he told he does not have time to attend to his customers. If the manager has not got that time and who says it loud in front of my other guests that was an insult for me... which clearly states that he does not have the basic etiquettes of treating the customers and managing the restaurant. Please think twice if you want to get insulted in front of your other guests when you want to take them for spending some happy time out. You will only know this when you experience it. If you want to experience this scene, please visit Swapna Indian restaurant!!! Dear Swapna, management please teach your staff some basic etiquettes on how to be good with customers... as you know for any business basic thumb rule is "Customer is God..." - RegardsShiva

Overall

I dined at this restaurant 4/10 for lunch. The worst Indian food I've ever eaten. The only reason I stopped by here is because planet Bombay in Lil 5 points was out of the way and I wanted Indian food. I heard decent things about the place but when I confronted my friends who have eaten there I "dennis leary" screamed into the phone the place "bleep bleeps"!! I can't use profanity but I'm sure you can assume what I said. Come to find out only 1 of my friends have had real indian food before and the others never really had authentic Indian food. The outside appearance of the restaurant looks far better than the inside, you couldn't have paid me $100 bucks to use their restroom facilities. Don't be fooled when you step in by the pretty bar like I was! Once you step beyond the bar it looks like a run down golden corral. As for the food; if thats what you want to call it, the tandoori chicken was dry and flavorless, the Rice was over cooked, the Naan left much to be desired and it's set up buffet style. The servers look constantly annoyed and are neglectful of refilling your drink until they see you about to choke to death on the tandoori chicken. Maybe because so many of them appeared to be illegal and didnt care. I mean would you if you were working under the table for $5 bucks an hour?! the plates and silverware have seen better days, and the clientele was an unsanitary petri dish of an eyesore. Nothing worse than eating a plate of bland below mediocre curry flavored offal looking at a females back rolls and muffin top going back to the buffet for 10ths! Lunch was $29 bucks and some change for 2 buffets and 2 soft drinks. My companion only ate 1 plate and I choked down 2 simply because I wanted to sample everything on the buffet before I totally wrote the place off as a EPIC FAIL and waste of money. We would have been more fulfilled if we went across the street to Steak and Shake or Red Lobster which is down the street. The lunch special at planet Bombay isn't all you can eat but at damn near $40 bucks four people could've had a soft drink, soup, Naan, and a complete entree for about $9 a person. I will never eat at SWAMP"NA again, I'm just happy I didn't get food poisioning. Go to planet Bombay in Lil 5 points waaaaaaay better seasoned authentic Indian food. The lentil soup there is so good I would use it as a foreplay tool instead of whipped cream lol people who said the food here at SWAMP"NA was good needs to be seen for psychiatric evaluation! I've seen stray animals eat better than this, this place is the equivalent of a indian version of mcdonalds. Gross, unfullfilling, and food that makes you wonder if it's really meat.
