There's a reason this place was named one of Elle Magazine's Top 100 Salons in the U.S.! Exceptional talent for both cut and color, and such a warm environment. My go-to spot for beauty in Atlanta.

  • Impressed with the talent!

I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am with my two talented ladies! Ashley cut my hair to my exact specifications and it's the best cut that I've ever had! After giving me the most precise and professional consultation I've ever had, Megan formulated the perfect color for me and I feel like a new person! I love this salon and highly recommend them.

  • Great Service!

  • Best Hair Salon in Atlanta
    Updated: a month agoPosted: 11/29/2011

About 6 weeks ago I have received an amazing hair cut by Soren himself. The reason I decided to write my experience here on Citysearch is cause this is how I found out about the salon in the first place. Not only Soren was extremely professional with the cut he gave me but also all of his very friendly staff. Literally every person I got in contact with offered me a beverage and made sure that I am taken care of. The Salon looks very clean and stylish in the boutique area of Buckhead. Thank you Soren + staff for a great experience.

  • Worst hair color ever! Stay away from here.
    Updated: a month agoPosted: 10/28/2011

I have been getting hair color for many years and decided to try Soren Salon after someone recommended it to me. I explicitly described what I was looking for and seemed to be on the same page with Megan. After the foils were applied I had my hair washed and styled and never saw Megan again. She did not come to look at the color because she was already with her next client. The color was terrible, the foils were streaky and there was obvious bleeding at the foil line. To top it off, the girl styling my hair was constantly burning my scalp with the blow dryer and I was left with stringy looking hair from the application of far too much product. Overall this was the worst experience that I have ever had at a salon and I would strongly discourage anyone from going here.

  • Atlanta's Best Salon By Far!
    Updated: a month agoPosted: 6/20/2011

I just love this place! Soren Salon is the best quality salon in Atlanta without any of the Buckhead pretense. I found the environment very welcoming and the staff professional and friendly. Soren is a master of his craft?truly the best haircut I?ve ever had and the cut grows out beautifully. Megan knows how to create a perfect blonde that looks so natural--and I'm super picky about my blonde hair color. Be sure and request the Kerastase Chonologiste treatment (all the celebs get this). It leaves your hair feeling so healthy and looking beautiful. Worth every penny!

  • Terrible assistant service!
    Updated: a month agoPosted: 5/29/2011

Soren Salon need better assistants! For this to be one of the best salons in Atlanta, and have great hairstylists, you would think the overall service would be good, but it's not. The girls that wash hair does not do a good job at all. I left the salon one day with my hair still full of dandruff and felt my hair was not clean, and to make matters worse, the girl that blow dryed my hair kept burning my scalp with the blow dryer. I left the salon with my hair not finished and I finished it at home. I didn't book a stylist this day because I only do that when I need a hair cut. It should not take for me to book a stylist everytime just for my hair to be handled correctly, because those assistants represent this salon also and I would hate to lose Meagan and Ashley as a stylist just because the assistants don't know how, or just can't do their job correctly!

  • Soren/Soeren Salon
    Updated: a month agoPosted: 3/10/2011

Last year, my boyfriend said, ""I know you like your hairdresser, but I don't think she's good."" Even though I was insulted (!!!), I had to admit that she hadn't been giving me the kind of cut I kept trying to describe to her--a basic, layered bob. I had to grow out the last three haircuts so I could have enough hair to work with for a new cut, plus my hair was getting dryer and dryer from the highlights she was giving me. In fact,, it was so dry that not even the best products I could find weren't working. One day, out of desperation, I went online and saw that Soren Salon had been voted Best Salon in Atlanta. Next, I explored the website and was convinced Ashley was the perfect stylist for me. Since my first appointment I've never looked back. My expectations have been met and exceeded. After nine months, I have a completely different head of hair--hair that feels like silk, swings with my movements and is the most flattering cut for me. Sometimes I think we don't realize what a difference having great-looking and feeling hair can make in our lives--until we get it. That's where I am now. Ashley and Megan--a GREAT colorist, who now has my haircolor looking natural, beautiful and my hair un-damaged--are both extremely talented as well extremely nice people. The keratin-based products by Keratase carried by the salon have made a 180 degree difference in the condition of my hair. Need I say more?

  • Thanks again, Mandy!
    Updated: a month agoPosted: 3/2/2011

I have been a client of Mandy's for over three years and she is amazing. I got a cut this morning and within two hours received 14 compliments on my style (yep, I kept count!). I followed her from DASS and while Soren is a bit out of my way, it is worth it!\r \r I always tease Mandy that whenever she does my hair you cannot tell I have any gray and this was confirmed by one of my co-works who thought I had colored my hair to cover them up. I told her Mandy works her magic with blow dryer and flat iron those gray hairs just disappear!\r \r Thanks again, Mandy, for another great cut!
