I had high hopes for this visit as I had been a frequent visitor to the Portland, OR restaurant when I lived there. I was disappointed. We had made reservations for this visit – we were not walk-ins. Yet we were seated in the front aisle with the noise of the front door and bar so loud and disrupting, we could hardly hold a conversation. The table approximated the look of Applebees – laminated veneer without a table cloth and paper placemats. The server arrived promptly and was very nice – explaining that they print their menus twice daily and fly their seafood in fresh everyday. I had planned on a steak but the pitch convinced me to try the seafood. First course was the seafood corn chowder for my guest and the small oyster sampler (4) for myself. The chowder was excellent, hot flavorful and full of seafood. The oysters provided our servers only mistake of the night. The oysters were placed in front of me with no explanation of which oyster was which. When we called her back and asked, she retrieved the menu which listed the various oysters and explained they started at the lemon slice and went clockwise by the list on the menu. Only one of the oysters disappointed, the other three were full bodied and flavorful. I ordered the Chopped Salad with Blue Cheese and Bacon. The salad was a large serving however the dressing had a sweet vinegar taste – the blue cheese was very bland – not strong enough for the dressing. The bacon was not noticed – if present, it added no flavor to the salad. Entrees were Sea Scallops for myself and the Mahi-Mahi entrée recommended by our server for my guest. Both disappointed. The Mahi-Mahi was completely unseasoned and entirely flavorless. The fish seemed to have been cooked in a microwave (very overcooked) and branded to appear to be grilled. My guest called it the most flavorless piece of fish she had ever eaten and did not finish the dish. The fish was accompanied by fried green tomatoes which at least were served hot, the fish was lukewarm at best. However the entire dish was over the top of a very bland tomato sauce with a ketchup flavor. As for the scallops - $24 for four scallops is very pricey considering that they also had no flavor. They were cooked properly but unseasoned and no taste. They were wrapped in pancetta but the pancetta also did not have any flavor – a low end product perhaps – none of the smokiness that pancetta usually brings to a dish. The scallops were also lukewarm at best – perhaps both entrees waited on the fried tomatoes and cooled while waiting. The scallops were served with baby spinach that followed the same trend – unseasoned and far too bland. As is our custom, we did inform the server of the quality of the entrees – managers claim they want to know these things. While our comments were acknowledged, no solution or compensation was offered. Desserts were presented and ordered and were the best part of the meal that otherwise disappointed. With a decent bottle of Chardonnay the meal came to $130 before tip for roadhouse style seating, high noise levels, and extremely bland preparation of the food. Not recommended.

The absolute worst dining experience of my life. Clearly this brand only wishes to become a McKendricks Steakhouse. Service is non- existent, food lacks taste and presentation. The price performance is best explained as ""negative"". An audience with the manager produced additional frustration in the form of an ITT tech grad who could care less about customer satisfaction. If you enjoy food, service, and have respect for your hard earned money, avoid this establishment at all costs. We were actualy approached by an employee on our way out of the establishment who offered his apology and suggested thay would be getting better very soon.

I have been to this restaurant several times for dinner and lunch. Never been disappointed. I recommend the house salad, the crab and artichoke dip, the buffalo shrimp, the stuffed salmon, the soy glazed halibut, and the oysters. Cant leave without the Caramel Apple Pie!!! Great service!! Wonderful Atmosphere. Visit the Bar, great Bartender named Bill does some Amazing magic tricks, all bar drinks are made from fresh squeezed fruit, yummy! Great Managment, Neil...very nice and helpful and a cutie! I highly recommend this restaurant, but I do not recommend the one in Atlanta, I prefer the one in Dunwoody! Enjoy!

I highly recommend this restaraunt to anyone that is interested in wonderful service accompanying high quality seafood and steaks. This is not the place for the seafood amateur, as the servers knowledge would put almost any fisherman to shame. Spacious private venues and knowledegable waiters will keep you coming back...I highly recommend the Augusta dining room for pritivate business parties and events. Danielle the banquet coordinator and will accomadate any need, Ask for Benjamin for your server, his courtesy and ability is outstanding! I highly recommend this restaraunt....

Because we were limited with our restaurant choices, my family decided on here for Christmas. We made reservations for 5:00 but were running late so we called & with no problem were changed to 5:15. When we got there, the first thing that saw was the ""85"" health rating posted at the hostess' station. I thought ""Oh my God, should we just leave?"" I was afraid that we would have a terrible wait if we tried P.F. Chang's next door without reservations & we had older family members with us & I wasn't sure if they would've enjoyed P.F. Chang's cuisine. So I said a small prayer & hoped that no one else with me noticed the rating. We were seated promptly. For an appetizer, we ordered ribs & half shell oysters. I don't eat oysters but my hubby said they were okay. And maybe b/c of paranoia from the food rating, I could've sworn that the ribs tasted stale. I ordered the scallops & they were delicious - all THREE of them. Is that really a normal portion? My husband ordered the stuffed salmon & he sent it back at 1st b/c it wasn't done. After he got it cooked some more, he said it was delicious. Another member of our party had the fried shrimp - she said it was good. I tasted her fries. They were good. All & all the food and the service was pretty good - I mainly gave them a low rating based on their health rating.

Went for a lunch meeting. The tomato soup was missing something, tasted like grocery store soup. Not being a seafood eater, I ordered the steak salad which was covered in a grossly sweet glaze (that was not mentioned on the menu). My colleague ordered fish and chips which were extremely overdone. Calamari was decent. Good service.

THIS LOCATIONS SAYS IT ALL--DOWNTOWN ATL-CNN CTR, CENTENNIAL PK, DOWNTOWN WHINEDOWN, ITS A CASH COW. \r and like all restaurants you must know what to order or you will be dissappointed--MY BAD--nobody messes up FRIED SHIMP, how wrong was I, we all know GEORGIA WHITE SHIMP IS TASTELESS and need alot of help spice-wise, I got crunch, that was it --was in a hurry so could'nt complain and wait for new order--did mention my feelings to mgmt next day--was told these shrimp were imported from Viet-Nam, oh boy?!!! \r \r my friends enjoyed blacked grouper and magazine pretty scallops, the day before we did caribbean tilapia and a salmon sandwich(atlantic salmon)is such a gottcha--I'm through with that too--good value over all just know what to stay away from. 4PM--6PM Happy Hour --Chef choiCe, then walk across the street to the Embassy Suite and get your Free Drink on till 7PM ..the magic to making this happen with the bartender--TIP TIP TIP...America what a Country--this only makes sense if you're with a BEAUTIFUL PERSON, A LOVE ONE OR YOU'RE TRYING TO IMPRESS SOMEONE NEW., O,K?!!!!.

We were seated promptly and the service was excellent. I am not big on sea food but I thought that the food was very good and so did everyone else in my party. It was kind of pricy but again the food was excellent.

A reliable NATIONAL chain restaurant. (I've eaten in Boston & Reston, VA.) The seafood is always fresh. The servers, though young, know EVERYTHING on the menu! I had 3 appetizers (wasn't hungry): wedge salad (excellent, crispy lettuce!), tuna tartare (nice play of texture against crispy wontons and spicy sauce), and pan-seared oysters (tasty batter and wonderful flavors). The wine list was rather extentive too. If it's not too hot, try the scenic seating outside by the water... Ask for a snug or even a booth (bar), if you want a more private dining experience!

My boyfriend and I ate at the bar which was nice and quiet on a Monday night. I had seafood which was quite good but my boyfriend ordered the filet and it was probably the best filet I have ever tasted- cooked to perfection and so tender, like butter.
