UltrasoundDr. Trevett enjoys all aspects of MFM, especially prenatal diagnosis with ultrasound and critical care for pregnant women. His practice is dedicated to improving the health and well being of pregnant women and their babies.
RadiologyIn 1990 we became Atlanta Perinatal Consultants, combining the different specialties of the founding partners (Obstetrics and Radiology) to offer comprehensive and highly personalized prenatal diagnostic services to our patients. From this beginning we became today’s multidisciplinary medical practice devoted solely to all aspects of maternal and fetal care, including neonatal and pediatric ultrasound diagnosis. We offer the insight of different medical specialties within the same setting dedicated to the care and well being of both you and your baby during your pregnancy.
Infectious DiseasesDr. Lawrence Stone, co-founder of Atlanta Perinatal Consultants, completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University where he later obtained his medical degree. He was staff associate at the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases while serving as Lieutenant Commander with the United States Public Health Service. He completed residency training at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in Diagnostic Radiology and was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1974. He held academic appointments at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School and Emory University School of Medicine before joining Northside Hospital. He is a member of several medical organizations including the Atlanta Ultrasound Society of which he is founder and past president, and he was past president of the Atlanta Radiological Society. He was an early member of the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine and the International Fetal Doppler Society. He served as Chief of the Medical Staff of Northside Hospital from 1990 – 1992, and currently teaches obstetrical ultrasound through the Department of Radiology at Emory University School of Medicine. He has received the National Foundation Merit Award for birth defect studies and is published in his areas of interest, including fetal and obstetrical diagnosis and diagnostic ultrasonography.
GynecologyDr. Kevin Gomez joined Atlanta Perinatal Consultants in 2002, contributing an extensive educational background and board certification in OB-Gyn, Maternal Fetal Medicine, as well as Medical Genetics.
ObstetricsPhysician members of our practice have been at the forefront of the development of obstetrical ultrasound since 1975. This was the beginning and original basis of our very special practice, the first in Atlanta and one of the first in the United States to pioneer the application of diagnostic ultrasound to obstetrics.
PregnancyDr. Marcy Mann joined Atlanta Perinatal Consultants in 1996. She has both an extensive medical background as well as personal experience as a high risk pregnancy patient, and as such brings added insight to her patients.
