Terrible, rude service. We have also ordered on occasion from there and the flowers are not so fresh. Will not return.

I can totally relate to the other reviewer.

I have never encountered such terrible customer service in my life. I can’t even put into words how terrible my experience was at Mountain Aspen Flowers. I provided very detailed instructions on our budget needs for some arrangements; I even provided these instructions in writing and discussed it over the phone.

We never got a receipt and we were a bit overcharged for the arrangements, around $25 to be exact. When I called to discuss this and also to simply get a receipt, the owner Wendy, yelled at me. I mean full on, yelling, ranting, even cussing! She told me "they didn't have time to deal with stuff like this." What, you really can’t provide a receipt to a client? She yelled that she couldn’t believe that I was harassing her over $25, that she "doesn't even make that in a hour." I tried to explain that I worked for a State institution and that we had strict budgets and that we wouldn't be reimbursed if we went over our allotted amount, all of which I shared with her when we placed the order.

This is how much she cared, she hung up me….three times! Yes, HUNG UP! What business owner hangs up on a client? When I called back to try to calmly rectify the situation she said, “you again, you’re honestly calling me again?!” In my 10 years of event planning, I've never even heard of a vendor treat a client so badly. In her defense, I'm sure she's used to dealing with clients with sky’s-the-limit budgets and she can do what she wants -if that's you, then GREAT! I wish that was the case for me, but I have to be accountable for the amounts we spend, and she didn’t seem to understand nor care.

I honestly am still in shock at how terribly I was treated, not just as a client, but as a person and how badly Wendy handled this - it just seems her angry came out of the blue? Asking to discuss a bill and get a receipt - is this too much to request?

To her credit, in the end, she sent the receipts and corrected the charge, only after I was told to “never to come back.” I find that funny, as if I would put myself through that punishment again.

I will say their work is beautiful, but is it worth it to be treated like that? How can a person that makes such beautiful flowers all day could be such a bully and unprofessional?

I called this florist to get a proposal for a destination wedding in Aspen. They were rude, offensive, yet the last choice of recommended florists from most Aspen Resorts. Matter of Fact, they were not even on the preferred vendor list from any of the 5-star Aspen resorts. I see why. The customer service is lacking. They thought that my floral needs for my small wedding was "too minor", and "a waste of their time" to provide a proposal for. So to all the intimate, small romantic brides, STAY AWAY FROM THIS FLORIST! THEY ARE RUDE,SNOODY, AND NOT WORTH EVEN A PHONE CALL. P.S. I WAS SPEAKING WITH THE OWNER. THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR A FLORIST THAT IS THIRSTY TO ONLY MAKE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. THIS OWNER NEEDS A SLICE OF HUMBLE PIE AND BETTER SERVICE. TOO BAD THEIR WORK ISN'T ON THE SAME LEVEL OF THERE UNJUSTIFIED EGO!
