your postal employee was so rude to me why do we waste taxpayer money on rude people I simply wanted to know how get passport photos..and process and expired passport...this is the worst us postal service in 55 years!!!!

tried to call to ask about lost mailbox key. Got multiple recorded options NONE of which involved keys. No matter what I pressed, I got more messages. Screaming and pressing "0" did not help. How do you get to talk to A Person????? Very unhappy.

I have mailed two letters from asheville, zip 28803, which never got delivered at two different times, never returned even though they both had return addresses.

The letters go to Greenville to be sorted so they could have disappeared from that sorting facility. Anyone else??

Employees can't even answer the phone. Will not be going here for passport.

I can't believe anyone would give this Post Office a rating less than 5 stars. It is the best Post Office I have ever been to in my life. As a matter of fact, though I live in North Henderson County and work in downtown Asheville, this is the only Post Office I will go to. The staff are exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have bent over backwards in more than one occasion to assist me. I mail quite a few items as I am an eBay seller so I am there at least once a week if not twice. I know it's possible some Post Offices may have to close as it is too expensive for the Post Service to operate them all. If we could only keep one Post Office open in Asheville The Biltmore Forest Post Office would get my top vote. As a matter of fact if they closed it I might consider using UPS though they have a tendency to smash packages.

I have had to do a 2 month run around between the insurance claims dept and this post office. THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. The manager shoves her problems off onto the employees who CLEARLY have no idea WHAT they are doing. I filed a claim and I had to call the office over n over till finally the insurance claims CLOSED my case due to the post office NOT filing a SIMPLE damage report. I had them RE OPEN the case and asked them to fill out the damage report in front of me and once it was completed.. ( a month n a half later ) I get a letter from the Claims Dept. claiming there was insufficient evidence that my belongings were damaged during the shipment. The boxes were torn to bits and taped up in a crude maner. Was that not evidence enough?



I for one will never use them again. UPS or send it through the internet after purchase.

Folks. Don't bother purchasing insurance. It is just another scam. There is no way you would have a receipt on something you purchased 5 years ago. " EXAMPLE " video game / digital camera / so forth....



I worked for the Gov. as a laborer in a few different facilities and I know that I had given such service as I recieved over these couple months that I would have been FIRED.

I have lived in this town for 1 month during that time i have mailed a payment to Progess Engergy that took 9 days to get to Releigh.



I have mailed a payment to Direct TV in Kentuck on the 12th of September, it is now Oct 1st and they still have not received it.



I mailed a Box to Normandy Missouri, PRIORITY on September24, it is October 1st Box HAS NOT ARRIVED YET.



I mailed a box Yesterday September 30 to Toledo Ohio PRIORITY I MIGHT ADD... Now I have to wonder will it get there by October 7th for my daughters birthday????



What is wrong with this??? Why does the customer have to pay extra for a confirmation number??? I have never in my life experienced such CRAPPY SERVICE from a post office



I will NEVER USE YOUR SERVICE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I SEE FAR AND WIDE TO AVOID YOU LOCATION AT ALL COST. BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IT WILL DO IS COST.
