      I was visiting Asheville, so my wife could be with her father who was undergoing surgery at Mission Memorial. I registered for a room at the Thunderbird Motel for a three nights. I thought it strange that the owner had me sign a paper with about 15 rules that was enforced at the motel. Some were silly, some were just irritating and some I wonder if they are even legal. When my wife arrived, she parked in the parking spot in front of the door. The owner came immediately and told my wife she could not park there and she would have to move her car to another parking spot. The commanding way that the owner spoke to my wife highly upset my wife. I went to her and told her that we would just check out and find another place to stay. I asked for a refund for the two nights that we would no be there. The owner told me that there is no refunds and that was against motel policy. When I asked her for one, the owner would not give me a receipt for my motel bill.

      Was looking for a value in ashville NC. And at the hotel we had plan on staying at there was a 2 hour wait so we drove down the road and saw this very nice looking hotel with plants and flowers outside for the same price. Decided to go for it since we had a 4 month old and a 1 year old that didnt want to wait 2 hours. Walked in and a sign said absolutly no refunds on weekly and monthly stays. Didnt pay it any mind. Walked into a room with brick walls, old everything, broken toilet seat, stains on the comforter, one chair and no table or desk. So my wife and i were like yeah, no. When we ask for a fefund 5 mins later they pointed out the period after absolutly no refunds so i asked to speak to the owner who called in and tried to tell me first he wouldnt give me one because we had been there over a hour. Then because we only want to leave because we want a cheaper hotel room down the road. I informed him that if i would have seen the room before i would nto have rented this room and he basically said "go ahead and call the cops or go rent another room somewhere else but i dont give a crap what u say there is no refunds. I'm not talking about this anymore"(click). I have never in my life ever been treated so horribly by management/owners or even heard of such bad customer service.
