Maggie Valley Gem Mine & Rock-n-Roll Ink

This gem mine is great value entertainment. The owners spent more than an hour identifying the type and source of each stone for us. The card charts were free whereas other mines would normally charge for each one. The portions in the mining buckets were very generous. The owners were very accommodating and have already learned southern hospitality. We also very much enjoyed playing with Lyca.

We went today, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. they spend a lot of time telling us what we had and what mine the rocks came from. We had a great time!

We went to Maggie Valley on our vacation and the kids wanted to stop at the rock shop. Holly & Fred were awesome. The kids were having so much fun mining for gems that I got a bucket. We all learned a lot about rocks and found sooooo many cool rocks.

These folks went out of their way to make sure we all had a good time. And you have to pet Jordy (the cat). He is on a leash in the front yard.

This place was very cool when we were there, and we look forward to the improvements they are making. See you guys next year...

"Photography on the Roll". It is photography gone mobile. We offer old time photos, glamour shots, group and event photography, wedding photography, and sooooo much more. Here in the mountains things don't always happen in a studio. With all the natural beauty around us, we knew that others would need our services wherever they may wander. So, at "Photography on the Roll" we went mobile. Yes, we have the saloon for the old time photos, and we went further, we built a real covered wagon for a charming covered wagon photo shot. We also have a parlor for our studio shots. However, here in the mountains, nature provides one of the best backdrops available. We have mobile rates low enough to photograph your group wherever you may roam. We have gone as far as Cades Cove, TN to photograph large groups (mileage charged over 20 miles). We are "On The Roll. to accommodate your group or special event!
