I purchased a pistol from them. They were nothing but professional. Great selection of guns and very knowledgeable. They had the best prices I have seen. Took about 30 minutes to complete purchase. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a fair price and honest people

I have purchased numerous guns and other products from Leicester Pawn and from Russell and have always gotten a good deal and a great product. The family that owns and opperates Leicester Pawn have been very honest with me and even helped me with some donations for a charity. Ther are two sides to every story and some how I don't think Ed is telling all!

For those of you in WNC that are interested in purchasing a handgun, there is one place NOT to go, and that is Leicester Pawn & Gun Shop. On June 7, 2014, a man that I believe to be Russell Whitmire, the manager of the store, refused to honor a price I had negotiated with one of his counter people and amazingly refused to honor a valid pistol purchase permit issued by the Madison County NC Sheriffs office. With so many options available to buyers, this is the one place to avoid in Asheville.

it has been my experience in dealing with these people, that dishonesty is the rule of the day. if it were up to me these people would be out of business and their log books for firearms inspected hourly. I have nearly gotten screwed twice by these people and since then i RUN like the bubonic plague. LET THE BUYER B E W A R E!!!!
