        Tom listened to my transmission nightmare, made me feel at ease, important being a woman, and was confident he and his team could fix my problem. My 1998 Nisson Frontier, 5 speed manual had gears grinding after 2 rebuild transmissions installed at another Asheville transmission shop with no solution to fix it. Then I found Tom, at Jack Smith Transmission.They also had 2 other customs from the other shop with similar complaints. Tom was professional, efficient and honest. New gears cannot be found, we went with a rebuilt transmission as he promised and the $ quote with 18 mos/18,000 mile warranty anywhere in the USA. After 8,000 miles the gears were a little rough so he replaced it with another rebuilt one as per warranty without any problem. Any repairs done here are well worth the $$. Excellent experienced mechanics. I am extremely pleased with their service and highly recommend them. Honest, trustworthy, friendly and they answer all your questions ..thank you guys !!!! :) Belle
