Excellent dental care! I have been seeing Dr. Fox since 2004, and my teeth have never been better!

This by far is the best dentist I have gone to in my life. If I don't like a dentist for any reason I don't go back, so I have been to many dentists. I have had a unique problem since childhood of the local anesthesia not working for a long time and had to suffer much pain because of this. The problem I found was dentists without sufficient understanding of the nervous system. Fox Associate dentists have had that training and know where exactly to place a shot to numb me quickly. Fantastic, no more pain. The first major thing I had done here was an extraction. Painless and fast. The second major thing an implant. Two hours was cleared for my implant but it only took thirty minutes to accomplish. A reason to go to a dentist that has done a lot of implants. Out of 1 to 10 I had a level 3 of pain that lasted fifteen minutes after the procedure and went away. Fantastic. I have waited many years to do this implant because I have not found dentists I trusted enough. (Did I mention I have had two caps put there by dentists that did not know their tradecraft well enough. Mechanistic tradecraft is fine for other professions but not on my precious teeth. A university dentist I went to for consultation said I did not have enough tooth left for a cap). Let me add one more thing. Even the dental assistants are extremely knowledgeable at Fox Associates and could actually answer all my questions I posed to them. Fantastic. Awesome place! Rest of the story: My implant healed exceptionally well judging by an X-ray I saw on a tv monitor that can also display your teeth images if you are interested. I am interested because I had a dentist friend that liked to show me how to read X-rays. Couple of days ago I had the replacement tooth (crown) put on my implant abutment. Let me explain why I am quite pleased with it. When I first met my mother- in- law the only thing she told my wife she didn't like about me was my teeth. If only they knew I spent years at an orthodontist to get them to the shape they are in now- which is a lot better than they were. To put a front tooth in my mouth you need to figure what would look good with the surrounding (weird) teeth and clear a tooth below going in a strange direction. The tooth design is excellent. Took an artist to figure out a tooth design that blends well with the surrounding teeth and Dr.Fox was successful. Also he suggested a color gradient that changes slightly from top to bottom making the tooth look exactly like it is the original tooth. If you happen to see someone going around Asheville smiling a lot- that would be me.
