        Waited over 30 minutes for my blow out appt. Stylist gave a sloppy hair wash and didn't even blow my hair all the way dry. After tip out it cost $48. What a rip off. Not worth the time or money.

        I have to disagree with previous review. I see Katya (spelling?) and she is awesome! Always takes me one time, does an awesome highlight and cut on my hair, and everyone has always been so nice to me when I've entered. They are pricey, but no more than any other high end salon. I've been going there for a year and recommend it to many!

        The salon is very pretty to look at... The people are so nasty inside. I have never encountered so much arrogance in the service industry. These gals act like you should be thrilled to wait 45 minutes after your appointment, pay too much for an average cut, listen to the girls talk about each other and their clients, and be rushed out the door.

        I decided to visit Ananda b/c I noticed the salon several times on my walks through downtown. The girl who greated me at the front desk was rather unfriendly, but I expect that at upscale salons. Once seated in the lobby, I began to wait and read. I could hear several girls and a guy at the desk behind me talking. They were saying negative things about the other clients in the salon and the people walking around outside. This made me really uncomfortable. My stylist was nice, but I couldn't help thinking that the others were judging me. She tried to assure me that they were not but I knew otherwise. The cut and color was great even though the atmosphere was awful. They really need to move that desk or be aware that people can hear them.
