North Ridge Church - Asheboro, NC

This is a wonderful church. It makes me sad and disturbed to read any negative comments about North Ridge Church. Clearly those people have not spent much time there. Our pastor believes in the "come as you are" welcome. We won't judge; we just want you to come and worship with us. That is first reason we decided to try North Ridge. After visiting many other churches, we wanted to belong to a church that made us feel welcomed and not judged upon arrival. We have been members since 2008 and we are proud of what we do in the community. We are spreading God's love and being His servants and it starts right here in our very own community! Our Dream Center is mentors at-risk children in our community. Our mentors have built amazing relationships with these children, as well as providing a safe place for them to go and improve on school work and providing meals. Our worship is from the heart and when you spend time with us, singing and praising God, you feel it, too. Our messages are straight from the Bible God's Word - and yes, we encourage not only everyone to bring their Bibles but also make use of following the scriptures with technology. I don't think that is a sin. We want to understand God's Word as it is and our pastors help to make it easy to understand, relate to it, and put it into perspective. I love my church family and I encourage anyone and everyone to spend some time with us at North Ridge.

I have visited this Church a few times in the past. I did not get a sense of true Christianity in the members. Although some were hospitable, others were very standoffish. I also did not like the overall persona of the Church. It seemed more geared towards it being created into some modern worldy event center than the house of the Lord. They also seem to praise themselves a lot, seeking out community approval instead of worrying whether God approves or not. I saw a lot of confusion in this Church. God is not the author of confusion. It seemed to stem from the conflicting new age era modern bibles suited for mans needs and not Gods desires.. I would unfortunately not recommend this Church to new Christians/believers for spiritual growth.

In response to dmbrandt. I don't know what Church you attended but it was not North Ridge Church. Our lead Pastor and Executive Pastor are the most God fearing men that I know. Their world revolves around serving God and their community. You came in the doors one time obviously with a negative attitude. We help families that can't feed their families, can't pay their light bills and because of a recent surgery they came and mowed my yard. I have been a member at North Ridge for 4 years and the first year attended 2 churches until God lead me to North Ridge. I am very sorry you had a negative experience at our church. North Ridge loves you and would like you to give North Ridge another chance.

North Ridge is a wonderful place to worship. The Dream Center is a wonderful after school and summer camp program for children in the Randleman area. They mentor children by showing God's love, helping with homework and spending time with them. There are many other outreaching ministries that are not talked about every Sunday. Our pastors preach God's word. Can God use a contemporary church? YES! Can he use a traditional church? YES! Love God, Love People

This is a HORRIBLE church. The music they play is like going to a teenage rock concert. The people are hypocritical, and the church is not as focused on the community as they would have you believe. The pastor is an ill spirited man when it comes to dealing with newcomers, and avoids facing the truth of the Bible when asked. Their executive pastor is as much a fake as the pastor himself. Self centered, self serving people. Their only concern is the money they rake in for their Dream Center and many other expensive ventures. I highly recommend finding a more God focused Church instead of this material focused one.
