NTB-National Tire & Battery

I had a great experience here with a tire rotation and oil change. Kin, who was the one who did the work on my car was very nice, efficient, knowledgeable and did a great job overall. There are not many car servicing places that I have been to where the one who is working on your car takes care of it as if it is their own. Kin did just that. Thank you Kin.

The other people who were working there were also nice and friendly and did their jobs very well.

I definitely recommend this NTB to anyone in the area who needs work done to your vehicle

We had an emergency in the family trying to get everyone in to say their goodbyes to a loved one. My sister-in-law had a blowout on 287 just a half mile from NTB. She drove it in on the flat and the service manager Bill took time to help fix the blowout and put on a different tire for her free of charge. It's nice to know that there are still some good people out there who help out on a time of need. I would recommend NTB just for the customer service that was shown to us. Thanks Bill. You are a great human being in my book.

This place is so bleak. The management is awful. Was there for a routine alignment and witnessed the big, burly manager get in an employees face and just started unloading on the poor guy. Completely unprofessional. Waay too much upselling going on too. I understand an add on here and there, but recommending 3 different types of flushes and giving me multiple "alignment plan options" to just get more of my money is completely sleezy.

I went there this morning to get my front brakes replaced on my 2007 Ford F150. The guy at the counter was very helpful and said he would write it up as a Break Safety check and give me an estimate at the end. He also said something at the end that threw up the first red flag…he asked if I wanted my old parts back if they did the work. I said no so we continued with the estimate.



After 20 minutes he comes back with an estimate of over $800! He says don’t freak-out some of the items were just general maintenance like power steering fluid flush and transmission fluid flush.



This was the second red flag because I knew if the technician had looked at the transmission fluid he would have noticed it was bright red! That because I had it changed yesterday at Kwik Lube.



It then went on to say the rotors could not be turned and that I needed new ones. I mind you my truck is only a 2007 so I knew this could not be right (3rd red flag) so I told them to wrap it up and bring it up front. I would go somewhere else.



After leaving NTB I went to Bankston Ford in Arlington, TX. They said nothing was wrong with my rotors! They machined my rotors and put brake pads on for less then $200!!!
