Lone Star Steakhouse

Stop by for a steak with the wife and kids. At first it didn't start off to great with it taking 2 to 3 mins for anyone to greet us then a young man who turned out to be our server greeted us instantly winning a new friend because my 7 year old daughter loved him. He saw us to our table and was back almost instantly with our drinks. He was full of smiles and made us feel like he was a friend of the family. Never once did we see the bottom of our cups and when our food came out and was wrong due to a kitchen area he made it right immediately and placed blame on no one like the server we had last time. He is by far one of the best servers o have had and the kids loved him and have constantly been asking when we were going to go see Austin again. We had a bad experience on our last visit but Austin made up for it without a doubt we look forward to coming back.

Traveling through NC, we stopped off at Lone Star Steakhouse for dinner. The waitress was phenomenal and the manager even checked on us. I ordered a burger with bacon on it and noticed it was a little undercooked and was in a hurry to get back on the road and decided to go for it. Well 4am came along and I wish I hadn't eaten the undercooked bacon, horrible cramps and other symtoms. Well their district and general manager and their claims adjuster called me (protocal) because I called the following morning to state what had happened and the claim adjuster asked if they offered any compensation, I replied no. He instantly called the manager and the manager declined any "Free meal" because it impied guilt. I never asked for a free meal, nor do I want one, BUT it may have made the matter "Right". So, that was my experience with Lone Star Steakhouse in Arden NC, I will most likely never eat there again nor any other Lone Star Steakhouse, and if the bacon is undercooked, turn it back. Word of mouth is very effective.
