        BreedAbove, Inc. is comprised of a group of Ann Arbor Area business owners and community leaders that came together as a result of a personal need for quality care for their furry family members. We shared a goal of giving our dogs safe daily exercise and socialization. Many of us travel for business and wanted a caring and comfortable overnight environment that was just like home. We wanted our dogs to receive expert salon care and often had need of a certified training specialist that could guide us through training. BreedAbove launched in September of 2011 with several components of high quality services and we've been growing ever since. Safety is the #1 mission in everything we provide at BreedAbove. From the Pet Salon and Spa to the DayStay Program to the NightStay Hotel Suites, BreedAbove provides excellency in the leadership, staff and facility design to create the highest quality dog services ever established in the industry. Located on Ann Arbor's popular West Side it is conveniently located to I94 and is just 1.5 miles from downtown Ann Arbor. We even provide transportation if you need it.         Have had our dog here twice, for one week stay each time, over the past year and a half. Both times she has come back with kennel cough. Both times we were told this was "the first report of kennel cough they've had". Got a lecture about how clean the facility is and that it's our dog's immune system that is at fault. We should "consider getting her vaccinated every six months". Blaming the dog for kennel cough???It costs over $500 for a week and then to have vet costs on top of that adds insult to injury. Will not be taking my dog there again. I do not recommend this kennel.

        I would NOT take my dog here. Untrained staff. Owner lies to customers. Many dog fights and staff injuries. I'm a former employee. I am writing this review for the beloved dogs that are shoved into too large of a group of dogs. It is many times an uncontrolled pack with untrained and under staffed workers. This is especially true during holidays and vacation days when facility is handling a large volume of dogs. The sales pitch is not what you dog gets after you leave. It is not at all what you are lead to believe. Many dogs have severe behavior problems coming in. Your dog get to deal with them all day long!
