Campus View Apartments

DO NOT MOVE HERE! They are a bunch of scammers and con artists. Told the leasing office that I was not going to be living on site the last 2 months of my lease because I became extremely ill and had to have 2 organs removed so I would be staying with my parents instead. I paid for the last 2 months of rent ahead of time and turned in my keys at the end of my lease and did the normal check out process. A few months later I got a letter in the mail of them suing me for $5,000 saying that I didn't not pay my rent the last two months and since no one moved in the apartment AFTER MY LEASE WAS ALREADY OVER THAT I NEED TO PAY THE RENT FROM THE TIME MY LEASE ENDED TILL WHEN THEY RENTED OUT THE ROOM?! Does this sound idiotic to anyone else besides me?! THIS IS NOT HOW LEASES WORK EVER!!! I SIGNED UP FOR A YEAR LEASE AND I PAID FOR A ENTIRE YEAR TO LIVE THERE NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS!! It's not my fault that you cannot find anyone else to rent your horrible apartments to. I got in contact with my lawyer after receiving the letter and gave them all the evidence they needed and I won my case. Few months later I had these ladies trying to sue me again for the same thing! Are you kidding me?! They have tried suing me 4 times now, I have decided to give up this time because I do not have time for these childish games and will now be out of $5,000. I'm a young college student who makes $8.00/hour this isn't something I can afford. I don't know how these people sleep at night taking advantage of young people.
