Tempura Express

I would give 5 stars if it weren't for the grouchy Korean lady (possible owner/cashier/server).
It's like the saying goes, you can either have good price, good food, good service, but you can't have all 3.
1) Food is the bomb. Had the tempura combo (I think comes with shrimp & veggie tempura-tempura sauce nice & not too much ginger in it, teriyaki chicken-teriyaki sauce was perfectly balanced, maybe a Cali-roll/I don't remember. Alby had the chicken katsu, god that katsu sauce was good. Home-made kimchee is killer. Fair portion size.
2) Is it the cheapest eats on the block?
No, but I think the price is pretty fair considering. $45 for 2 adults & a toddler.
3) Casual/need not fuss about clothing.
4) Service: Lol. You just order at the counter & she'll just bring it out to you with your initial drinks. That's about the extent of that. But hey, more of a coworkers eat at lunch/no fuss thing, so who cares if u try to conversate with staff & they completely ignore you

loved the Alaskan roll! Will definitely make this one of my regular spots to eat!
