There isn't an Olive Garden where I live so I eat here every time I'm in Anchorage, about twice a year. I have never had a bad experience. The service has always been fantastic and the food is always superb. I like the shrimp alfredo and almost always order that.

When we went into Olive Garden, our server was great! I get the same thing almost every time, and it is very consistent. Way to go Olive Garden

Overall

This was our first visit since we moved up here 6 months ago. we walked in and there was only one group ahead of us, we were giving the little round thingy letting us know the table was ready... we were right there any how we were sat by the fireplace which was nice... while looking at the menu I noticed several dirty tables around us and was wondering why no one was cleaning them up.. the couple across from us had to sit nest to a tray filled with dirty glasses and left over plates full of food, which to me would not have made it a pleasant environment. Our waiter finally came over to take our orders and when he asked if I wanted soup or salad I stated salad with blue cheese he then told me I cant have that since steve had ordered ranch... he was rude when he stated that and I was like umm ok.. then when our food was brought he asked if I was done with my salad and I stated no it was obvious I was still eating it when he made me move the bowl so he could put my food down. Those dirty tables I mentioned earlier well they were still dirty, I was honestly ready to get up and help clean them off.. I had ordered the chicken alfredo and it was really salty, I didn't eat all the chicken or all of the pasta.. I was full.. Im all about customer service, if I have fantastic service the server is rewarded if not I wont tip at all.. I will not go to olive garden again for a meal the fact that it was so dirty was just disgusting... there was no excuse for it, the restaurant wasn't busy enough to not have clean tables.. I did see two managers look round and count empty tables im assuming for a big party of people.. The staff should be friendly the young lady helping the couple behind us never cracked a smile once with here customers.. she should have loosened her tight pony tail and at least smiled once in while...

Overall
Olive garden disappointment

Frozen food, pressed chicken patty, not resturant quality food. Somthing like you would buy at Costco and thaw in the oven. Too bad!
