I've known Hal for years, I hate to take my horns to anyone else. He is meticulous and always ready with advice.

Our family LOVES Hal & his wife Ladonna!!! Both incredibly personable & so willing to help our kids anyway they can. Hal has incredible knowledge on a wide range of instruments. He teaches our 13 yr old daughter (alto sax) & 11 yr old son (electric guitar). Hal's so naturally gifted in working w/kids & sparking their passion for music. I'd recommend Hal without ANY reservations! He bridges the gap between the group instruction in middle school & the necessary work independently that keeps a student progressing successfully on their instrument. When my daughter has difficult pieces given in school Intermediate II or Jazz Band, Hal works with her to fine tune her rhythm, notes, style - he's the BEST!!! He gives my kids challenging pieces, plays duets w/them at lesson time (they LOVE this), & helps tweak their instruments right on the spot! LOVE the Nonneman's end of year concert! Widest range of instruments imaginable. Entertaining & so impressive how far his students progress in a year.

Hal does outstanding instrument repair work! He's extremely knowledgeable and responsive, gets repairs turned around very quickly [often the same day], and his rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend him. He's also an excellent teacher.

Hal is a very thorough and knowledgeable repairman. As a high school band director I especially appreciate his willingness to stop by my school on a moments notice and take care of repairs during the class time if possible. I highly recommend Hal as an instrument repair technician as well as private teacher.

Hal does an amazing job repairing instruments, I've had two bassoons and a saxophone all fixed up there!
