BracesVeneers are a thin shell made of porcelain that fits perfectly over one of your front teeth giving them a flawless look. They are adhered into place and are durable enough that they should last a long time. If you are looked for that perfect smile, dental veneers are a quick and easy process. Cheaper and faster than braces or crowns, this may be the best option for you. Drs. Gregorin can help you decide if this is a good option for your front teeth.
Invisalign OrthodonticsInvisalign® Invisalign is a powerful alternative to traditional braces. Invisalign uses series of removable, clear aligners to straighten teeth in a way that is nearly invisible to others.
Dental ImplantsWhy Patients Opt for Dental Implants There are many options to replace missing teeth, so why do patients opt for dental implants? Every patient is different, but some of the most common reasons include...
BridgesDental bridges are highly durable and should last many years, Dr. Gregorin will check the status of your bridge during your regular dental checkup to see if it needs to be recemented or replaced.
Restorative DentistryRestorative Dentistry Restorative dentistry is meant to help you keep your natural teeth in your mouth. We make this possible with various services that restore the health of a damaged or decayed tooth, such as a root canal, dental crown or composite filling. In the event that a tooth cannot be saved, we have other alternatives to replace the missing tooth, such as dental bridges, dentures and implants.
Dental BondingDental bonding is the application of a tooth colored composite material to a tooth. This composite material is quartz or porcelain that is mixed with resin. It is a strong, durable product, that should last for several years. With this material we are able to shape it, allow it to harden, and then polish it. This is a great option for minor repairs for a variety of reasons.
FillingsIn the past, dentists preferred the silver amalgam filling material, but composite filling has advanced. We now consider composite fillings to be durable and resistant to fracture in small to medium size restorations when used with normal use and chewing pressure. An additional advantage to composite fillings is that we are able to remove less tooth structure when our dentists, Drs. Gregorin, prepares the tooth, and resulting in a smaller filling than with amalgam. We find it to be an advantage that this material bonds to the tooth, unlike amalgam.
VeneersPorcelain Dental Veneers When you have large gaps in your mouth, crooked teeth or unsightly stains, porcelain veneers can enhance the appearance of your teeth. These thin pieces of porcelain are custom made to match the color and shape of your tooth. They are placed directly over your existing tooth by being bonded to the enamel to give the appearance of straight, uniform and white teeth.
CrownsA crown (or cap) is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. A crown protects and strengthens the tooth structure giving the tooth a longer life than it would have if restored by fillings or other types of restorations.
Root Canal TreatmentEndodontic treatment is more commonly known as a Root Canal. This is often met with terror, but it shouldn't be. The process is not designed to cause pain, but to relieve it. Understandably, no one likes the discomfort of having pain in a tooth, but a root canal is the removal of the infection and is designed to cause relief to you.
DenturesDentures are a "replacement" option for missing teeth. Dentures come in 2 varieties: partial dentures and full dentures. The difference between the two lies in how many natural teeth remain.
OverdenturesDental Implants Today the most popular method of replacing missing teeth is with dental implants. The implant is a titanium screw that is placed in the jawbone. As the area heals, the titanium screws begin to fuse with the bone, becoming a natural and stable part of your mouth. Once the area is ready, we can attach overdentures or a dental crown on the anchors, giving your mouth full function and a pleasing appearance once again.
Tooth WhiteningWhen the natural color of your tooth enamel begins to discolor, it is natural to want to find a solution. Professional tooth whitening is a non-invasive way to restore your teeth to a shade that is closer to its original white color, while avoiding any unnecessary side effects. There are several methods of tooth whitening available to you, of which the most successful is in-office tooth whitening. If you prefer to have a process to complete at home, we also offer take-home kits that are custom made for your mouth and elicit results that are close to those that you would receive with our in-office whitening procedure.

Oral Cancer ScreeningThe goal of an oral cancer screening is to identify possible irregular growths or cancer early. Early detection gives you a greater chance for a cure. The National Cancer Institute has estimated that 40,000 people each year in the United States are diagnosed with mouth or throat cancer. About 8,000 of them will die from it.
Dental ExaminationDental Exams Help Prevent Gum Disease The removal of the tartar and plaque is a crucial component to the prevention of tooth decay and gum disease. The cleaning process also helps to eliminate tartar that has accumulated along the gum line. If this tartar is left untouched, it could result in the advanced stages of gum disease, putting you at risk for tooth and bone loss. Our hygienist work hard to perform a thorough cleaning that leaves your teeth feeling clean and looking shiny once again.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Tooth ExtractionsA tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the jawbone. This may be done because the tooth is damaged beyond repair or sometimes for orthodontia reasons.
Bone GraftingThe Process for Dental Implants Our Anchorage dental office partners with a few specialists in order to properly coordinate your dental implant procedure. In some cases, bone grafting needs to be performed before implants can be surgically placed due to a lack of natural jawbone. In other cases, gum tissue is not healthy enough to support the implants, requiring the assistance of a periodontist before implants can be placed. We will discuss your oral health situation with you before making the decision to have implants placed to ensure that you know exactly what the process will entail. Typically, dental implant placement takes place over the course of several months and in several stages.
