Flying Dutchman European Pstry

For all the wonderful things one can hear about this pastry shop on their radio ads, my husband and I got the shaft on a recent Saturday morning run. The grumpy service lady behind the counter seemed downright indignant toward our admiration of the pretty delectables before we placed our order and gruffly sold us our selection. The beautiful danish-style pastry was mostly rubbery crust--very little filling and disappointingly. The quiche was tasty, but nothing special. Oat bran muffin also tasty, but sticky-hard stale on the edge. We'll be trying out the plethora of other well-recommended bakeries in town before we give these guys another go.
