Founded in 1910, Camp Fire USA Alaska Council is a community service organization, specializing in serving youths and teenagers and their families. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, the organization serves youngsters through a range of programs, including school-based child care program, community centers in low- income neighborhoods, resident and day camps and a rural Alaska program. It serves more than 5,000 youths each year, with over 1,200 participants in its School Age Child Care program each day.
