Big Bear Bed & Breakfast is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and a guest house located in Anchorage, Alaska. Whether a long-time guest, or visiting us for the first time, we hope you enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. Families are welcome to our environmentally friendly, people friendly accommodations in the heart of Anchorage. Big Bear Bed and Breakfast is open year around. We are smoking, pet and fragrance free. Varied breakfast menus feature Alaskan products & wild berry specialties. Menus differ for on return visits. Special diets accommodated. Off street parking, cable TV/DVD/VCR, WIFI and freezer space available. Two miles from downtown Anchorage and train depot, nine miles from Anchorage International Airport and 1/2 mile from Highway #1. Near Alaska Native Heritage Center, neighborhood restaurants and shopping. Enjoy wandering the garden paths past beautiful Alaskan perennials, annual flowers, alpine rock garden plants, vegetables and berries common to the Anchorage area, designed, planted and maintained by Master Gardener Carol and her sister Janet.
