        The William A. Egan Civic & Convention Center hosts a variety of meetings and events throughout the year, such as small, intimate local group and large-scale and multipleday conventions. It is spread over an area of more than 45,000 square feet of meeting, exhibit and pre-function space. The center also maintains the Explorers Hall and a boardroom that can be used for smaller presentations, meetings and banquet ceremonies. The William A. Egan Civic & Convention Center offers equipment for various functions and events, including tables and chairs, stages, microphones, water services, podiums, coat racks, easels, message boards and portable signs. Located in Anchorage, Alaska, it also provides audiovisual equipment, sound systems and parking facilities. It is a part of the Anchorage Civic & Convention District

        Disgusting!

        This catering company should really go out of business soon. The prices were ridiculous for the quality of food provided. No taste, no presentation. HORRIBLE. My poor friend who hired them for her wedding was extremely dissappointed and has told everyone how disgusted she is with them. When I tastesd the food I had to immediately put my fork down. I don't think many people finished their plate of cold ham (not fully cooked) with grilled veggies that tasted like lighter fluid and the gravy was horrid. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go elsewhere. So many complaints against them.

        Best of Anchorage! Anchorage's best kept secret! Did you know the Egan caters out?

        I had an event for 200 people at the Airport Railroad Depot in Anchorage & was referred by a personal friend to try the Egan Center. I was astonished at their organization, their cleanliness, and most of all their food! We had the Prime Rib dinner and it literally melted in my mouth! When we walked in, there was a server who offered us a Sauteed Scallop & I spent the first half hour following her around for more. Each Scallop was a meal, they were so big!They also offered me an Event Planner. She handled all my questions and strange requests before the event, and she was also there during the event & made sure everything ran smooth. I loved having my own Egan Center Event Planner to take care of everything. She enabled me to attend my event and enjoy it, rather than taking care of business the whole time.I highly recommend the Egan Center as a caterer!
