Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

This review is an absolute must. I am giving the Veranda Lounge a very high five star rating all due to the impeccable and wonderful welcoming service of our concierge Able. He made our whole family feel welcome, showed us around and was very knowledgeable and polished. He seemed to genuinely enjoy what he was doing. Please give Abel a raise, as he is a very valuable asset to the Grand Californian Hotel & should be acknowledged. Thank you so much!

Everything about this Spa and Hotel is the best! We loved the cabana! Oh and the service was amazing! Highly recommend booking your stay

We took the time during our stay to rent one of the cabanas by the pool. It was so worth it! We had our own helper coming and taking our food requests and bringing us delicious treats and extra towels. It was such a relaxing experience I absolutely recommend it! It came with a few amenities besides the private cabana, including bottles of water cold in the fridge, a remote control and a tv for vegging if hiding in the cabana from the sun when it was too much and a large bowl of fresh fruit to enjoy while relaxing and chilling out. Such a wonderful treat!

This is by far my favorite place to stay during my disneyland visits. The hotel is gorgeous and I love the cozy warm atmosphere. Of course disney staff is always helpful!

The staff at The Spa is horrible!! They are typical Orance County snobs-for no reason! Someone needs to please tell them, they are the hired help and should be polite & respectful and then people will be polite & respectful in return. Aside from the staff, we were not allowed to use the pool because we were not staying at the hotel. We also were not allowed to order lunch or snacks or champagne for our usually fabulous spa experience. I 'Spa' all over the country and usually spa staff are over-the-top nice--NOT HERE!!

The food tastes good when its hot and fresh, but this place is nothing spectacular and way overrated. I hate to argue with Samantha Brown, but its not all that. You should try it I think, its just a matter of taste. The hotel itself is just a tiny, dressed down version of the Wilderness Lodge at Disney World.

This is a great Hotel. You have your own personal entrance to the parks! Enjoy
