Bob's Chowder Bar & BBQ Salmon

Bobs chowder bar has the most incredible chowder, fish n chips. Oyster baskets. Clam strips fish tacos prawn tacos bread bowls and the homemade soup du jour is always diffrent but always exclent and hearty. Very delicious

The bright and fun exterior carried over to the inside with friendly staff and great conversation. Our whole family, from 2 years to 6 years and my wife and I ordered a variety of things and everyone was happy with their choice, from great fish n chips, chicken strips, seafood basket, and awesome chowder!

We stopped by on our way to pickup someone at the ferry terminal. We were thinking about a sandwich at the beach. Drove by and it caught my eye so we flipped a uturnn and went to check it out. We had the chowder and grilled sandwich. Each came with a side salad. WOW the salad dressing was the bomb!!!! Would love that recipe. As luck has it they bottle it and sell it. Will be back for more great food for sure

On a short trip out of Seattle in July we were headed back to the airport and had a few hours to spare, so we diverted to Anacortes. At the visitors' center we saw a menu card from Bob's Chowder Bar. One of us had the barbequed salmon with salad, I had the seafood gazpacho, and the other tried the clam chowder. It was all very delicious and we all wished we could extend our trip a day or two so that we could try all the menu items, including the fantastic looking brownies and the three-cheese sandwich. If you just love seafood and don't need waterfront dining atmosphere, this is the place for you! The prices are very reasonable too!

The food doesn't get any better then this! Reasonable prices, great flavor. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great seafood.
