Awful Brewing Company

I hate, hate, hated this place. Food was not good, beers were decent and when I overheard the manager dealing with a customer in an incredibly rude manner. I will never go to this place again nor give them another $1. Bad restaurant, bad management.

Two thumbs down!!!!

If I had a third thumb to put down, I would. My beer was tasteless, my meal was worse, my waitress messed up my order twice and then had the nerve to give me attitude! I asked to speak with the manager and he was allegedly "busy in the back". Tired of waiting, I left, never to return. Many of my peers share my disdain for this place. Full of pompous employees who clearly have no sense of the word "customer service". Based on my experience asking for management and I can only conclude it starts at the top.

If you're looking for poor service, poor food and poor beer, this could be the place for you. Worst of all, you get the sense that management doesn't value your business, and only wants more $$$ Seems like a good place for a fraternity party though.

A Mess of Place

Although the ABC (as its known in town) looks nice on the outside, I hated everything about this place. As an Amherst resident and local expert, I gave the restaurant two chances, and both times it failed miserably.

The food was decent at best, certainly not worth the price. The beers were watery and nothing to write home about. I was least impressed with our waiter who was not friendly and seemed to have better things to do than properly handle our table.

I have many friends in the area and all of them have tried the ABC with no positive reviews. The place is not kid friendly, nor is it adult friendly. I would describe the place as a spruced up college bar and the attitude of the employees and management reflects this.

In short, a mess of place, a poor experience and extremely overpiced.

Stay Away!!!

I had a very bad experience at the Amherst Brewing Company. I got sick from the food after I sent it back for being cold. My waitress was very mean and when I asked to speak with the manager he was the most unprofessional manager I've ever dealt with in my life.

The group I was with thought the food was terrible and their beers were "gross". There are many choices in the Amherst area and I would STAY AWAY FROM THE ABC!

HORRIBLE Place

In over 30 years of restaurant and brewery experience, this place is the absolute WORST I've ever visited. The beers were flat and priced too high. The food was not worthy of an eat-in restaurant.

The staff was obnoxious and rude. Lots of wild college students running around and the staff seemed more interested in talking with each other/friends than helping customers.

I would not recommend this place under any conditions. It was a truly terrible time. I wouldn't be suprised if they close the doors in the next few years, it was THAT BAD!

Simply Terrible

Everything about this place was horrible. The food was well below par, the beers were pricey and flat and to make matters worse the wait staff and management was extremely rude and incosiderate. I would not recommend this place if it were the last restaurant on Earth.
