BracesVirtually Invisible Clear Aligners – the clear, BPA-free plastic aligners are virtually invisible. There simply is no comparison to the bulky, metal, braces that have become the norm. Even the porcelain clear bracket systems are visible to your friends, family and co-workers. Most people with clear braces still need to wear metal wires during their treatment time.
OrthodonticsDr. Fields is a member of American Orthodontic Society and trained in comprehensive orthodontics. A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, is Invisalign certified and has advanced training in Botox and Dermal Fillers.
Invisalign OrthodonticsOld Milton Dental is pleased to offer our patients the exclusive Invisalign® orthodontic system – a virtually invisible option for straightening teeth.
Dental ImplantsDental implants are a permanent option for replacing missing teeth. Dental implants function just like your natural teeth would; by allowing you to enjoy the foods you love, with the added benefit of natural esthetics.
BridgesOnce you have healed from your tooth extraction, Dr. Mazer, Dr. Katie Reid and their associates will discuss the options available for replacing the missing tooth or teeth. We offer a wide variety of services, such as dental implants, partial or complete dentures, or dental bridges – all of which may be an option for replacing the missing tooth or teeth after an extraction.
Dental BondingTooth Bonding – If you chip your tooth, it is possible to repair the damage easily and naturally with tooth-bonding. Using tooth-colored dental resin, Dr. Mazer, Dr. Katie Reid, or one of their associates will handcraft the tooth repair using the resin material. The result is a natural match for the damaged area of the tooth.
FillingsAmalgam fillings, also known as silver or metal fillings, date back to the early 1800’s. Amalgam is a combination of mercury, silver, tin, and copper. The majority of this combination of metals consists of mercury.
VeneersPorcelain Veneers – A dental veneer is a thin, translucent shell of porcelain that is bonded to the front of your natural tooth. Porcelain veneers can create a natural looking smile, which is also versatile and strong
CrownsAt Old Milton Dental, we value your time and understand that it can be difficult to schedule appointments during regular business hours. We also believe in offering our patients the latest in dental technology. Dr. Mazer found a technology 10 years ago, that offers patients an innovative option for their major restorative procedures, such as dental crowns, that also saves the patient time. That technology is called CEREC.
Root Canal TreatmentEnsuring that patients keep their natural teeth is something that Dr. Corey Mazer, Dr. Katie Reid and associates believe is vital, for a lifetime of healthy smiles. The simple procedure known as a root canal is designed to relieve the pain from a toothache, allowing the patient to keep their natural teeth.
DenturesOld Milton Dental offers our patients a wide range of denture services. Even if you did not have your dentures made at Old Milton Dental in Alpharetta, we are here to help you with all of your denture needs.
Tooth WhiteningTeeth Whitening – Perhaps one of the most popular cosmetic dental treatments at the moment, teeth whitening can provide patients with a dramatically whiter smile in as little as one appointment. At Old Milton Dental, we believe in providing our patients with the leading brands of professional tooth whitening material, and have chosen Brite-Smile® in-office whitening system as our product of choice. Our whitening system dramatically whitens teeth in one appointment.
Cosmetic DentistryPreventing adverse dental conditions from happening in the first place is something that all dental professionals believe strongly in. The dentists and staff at Old Milton Dental believe that cosmetic dentistry doesn’t just involve the esthetic appearance of your teeth. It involves having healthy teeth and gums that will last you a lifetime.
General DentistryDr. Katie Reid is an active member of the Hinman Dental Society, The Georgia Dental Association and The Academy of General Dentistry. She also volunteers her time with the Ben Massell Dental Clinic and various other charitable dental foundations.
Teeth CleaningOur dental hygiene team is professionally trained and certified to provide our patients with deep cleaning treatments. Your hygienist will evaluate your mouth to determine the type and frequency of your teeth cleanings.
Fluoride TreatmentFluoride Treatments – Our patients are encouraged to take advantage of our fluoride treatments. Fluoride helps to strengthen your teeth, which in turn prevents tooth decay.
Dental SealantsDental Sealants – Dr. Mazer or one of his associates may recommend dental sealants as a preventative measure against tooth decay. The back teeth (molars and premolars) have deep grooves on the biting surface which can trap food and plaque. Dental sealants fill these grooves with a dental resin material, preventing tooth decay.
Dental ExaminationComplete oral examinations and professional cleanings – Dr. Mazer, Dr. Katie Reid, or one of their associated will conduct a complete examination of your teeth and gums. This examination will also include an oral cancer screen. Identifying dental problems early will help treating those issues effectively later.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Oral SurgeryDr. Katie Reid graduated in 2006 with honors as one of the top clinical students at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. She completed a general practice residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham Medical Center; a hospital residency program specializing in complex, comprehensive treatments including implants, oral surgery, endodontics, and advanced cosmetic procedures.
Tooth ExtractionsAt Old Milton Dental, we ensure that your comfort and wellbeing are looked after during and after your tooth extraction. We use innovative dental tools to help ease the discomfort of the dental anesthetic, and also provide you with a detailed set of instructions for you to follow after your tooth extraction.
