        J & D Foods Inc. was established in 1977 By Eddie Gauna and Jane Muller, it was passed on to Debra J Gauna and is still family-owned and operated today by her children today. Family-owned and operated since 1977, we are New Mexico’s First Beef Jerky / Carne Seca Company. Our family has been creating all-natural delicious New Mexican snacks for over four decades. Creators of the original Green Chile Carne Seca, we have been using the same recipes and techniques in the traditions that our ancestors passed on to us. Our original all-natural beef jerky contains no additives or preservatives. Made from all-natural local ingredients and All-American Beef and slow-cooked to perfection, you won’t find a healthier, more addictive beef jerky!

        I moved from Albuquerque to Tennessee. A friend came for Christmas and brought me a 3 lb. bag of "Frozen Hot Sandia Chiles" from J&D Foods. Delicious! Not too hot but very flavorful. Wish I had known about this place when I lived there. Got to see if I can have some shipped here....but kept frozen, I don't know. :-)
