Eye Associates of New Mexico - Promenade

As a new client, I made an appointment to be seen for a yearly eye exam. They sent me a packet of paperwork to be filled out prior to my appointment. I showed up about 10 minutes early, gave them my filled in paperwork, which was basically blank as I have no illnesses, no problems with my eyes, no meds, very healthy, they took my info and paperwork, told me to have a seat and they'd be with me shortly. I left after almost 40 minutes. When I called back later in the day to explain why I left, I was told that as a new client, they had to "get ready" for my visit by doing data entry and log creation, etc, etc, and that I was just expected to wait until they were ready to see me. When I asked why they couldn't have at least informed me that I would be waiting anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour past my appointment time for them to get "ready to see me", I was told they don't have to inform new clients of that and it would be up to me to just wait patiently for them to get around to my visit. As I consider my time valuable, which is why I make appointment's, I find their attitude totally and completely unacceptable. Unless you don't mind wasting your time in a waiting room, I'd go somewhere else. This business gets a one star rating, as I couldn't go any lower.

Their scheduling process is RIDICULOUS! They won't allow more than 2 kids to be scheduled over the same day and expect you to come on back to back days to schedule the 3rd kid. Who has time for that? Also be prepared for a 2 hour appointment! I'm switching providers! Don't waste your time!

I came down with a inflamed eye. extremely painful. And on New Years day. I called in the second and was seen ASAP. Very happy with concern and care.gave not waited long at all.
