        We used to rent a room here at least 4 times a year for my kids birthdays. We have 5 kids so we liked the pool side rooms. The old management was friendly and never had a problem with us using the kitchen area in the front. There were a few shady characters here and there but for being right off the I 40 in Albuquerque, you can expect that somewhat. This time we stayed Jan. 3 2015 was just awful! The breakfast is never any good, just waffles, coffee oj and toast. But this time they didn't even have the batter dispenser. The guy at the desk, which was there since the previous afternoon had to make the batter in a pitcher without a lid! Gross and totally disgusting to think that anyone could just cough or sneeze into it and that's your breakfast! The kitchen was completely filthy with batter all over the counter, no cups for coffee or juice in sight and the bread for toast didn't even have tongs! My son couldn't grab it without touching the other slices because of the way the display tilts. Plus there was no OJ only apple juice. I got only 1 cup of coffee went back for a second cup and there wasn't any more and it was only 7:30 am. The entire night was AWFUL. We didn't get any sleep whatsoever! My 6 year old slept the entire next day because the neighboring room was slamming the door all night! Obvious drug dealing and possible prostitution going on next door to our room and my sister and her husbunds room! Called to the front desk but not any help. I can't even believe that APD isn't monitoring this place for this kind of stuff. I will NEVER EVER EVER stay at this place again! The clerk at check in was boasting about new management and being upgraded??? The only upgrades I saw was new comforters super thin by the way, and 1 tv upgraded to a flat screen. There is NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS MOTEL! Especially for the price! You can get a much nicer room anywhere else for less. You figure it will be nice since its $80 a night. I am more than disappointed. Don't stay here unless you're into drug dealing and prostitution.

        I rented two rooms for my family and I. The rooms were filthy. One smelled so bad of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The toilet was dirty & had not been cleaned. There was old fast food wrappers thrown behind the TV. Stickers stuck to the wall near the bathroom. One room didn't have a phone. The staff was polite but that was the only good thing about the place.
