Do NOT send your child to this home daycare. I sent my 9 month old daughter here back in 2013. I had just moved to New Jersey, just got a job, and needed to find affordable childcare quickly. The lady who runs this home daycare, Kimberly, seemed very nice at first. She said the daycare was 24/7 and open on all holidays. And I was like, GREAT, because my job would have me working on holidays and I needed a place that would still be open. So i paid the registration fees and registered my daughter to start the following week. One day, when I picked my daughter up, I noticed that she still had the exact same bottle with the exact same milk that I sent her there with. She had not fed my daughter all day! Then, everyday when I came to pick my daughter up, Kimberly would complain that my daughter had been crying all day. Even went as far as telling me that my daughter's crying is caughter she and her husband to argue and is causing a rift in her marriage!! Who says that? Another red flag was the fact that when I initially visited, the place was FULL of kids. But when my daughter started, she was ALWAYS the only one there. Fishy. A few weeks down the road, she told me that she randomly decided to be closed on holidays and she was tossing my original contract and having me sign a new one saying she was going to be closed on holidays. UMM! Thats a big reason why I even took my daughter there, BECAUSE SHE WAS OPEN ON HOLIDAYS! How do you just randomly and voluntarily void the contract? Anyway, she finally told me that she did not want to take care of my daughter anymore because she cried too much, she had a headache, and it was causing she and her husband to argue, while my daughter was present-- which now brings a whole safety issue into play. She told me that I am spoiling my daugher, and I need to love her enough to let her go, because apparently I dont love my daughter enough. Needless to say, I gladly removed my daughter from her home daycare immediately, eventhough she gave me 2 weeks. I put her in another daycare and they did not complain of her crying all day. They said she was a pleasure and a joy to have around. THAT says something about what was going on at Kimberly's Little Merakals. If my daughter had that much of a crying issue, it would have continued at the next facility and it DIDN'T. Do NOT send your kids here.
