George loves architecture, design, industry, land and water, and has a great respect for the wind. He seeks peace in himself and others. He loves to work and is not afraid to show how much he cares. He is a leader in the New Orleans photographic community having served as president of the New Orleans Photo Alliance and the New Orleans/Gulf South Chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers. He currently serves on the Advisory Boards of both the New Orleans Photo Alliance and PhotoNOLA. George began his career in television production as a studio camera operator and 16mm film photographer then worked 12 years as floor director at the studios of WWL-TV for daily newscasts, commercial productions, and live remote broadcasts. During that time, he decided it was time to create his own future as a full-time photographer shooting primarily for publication. He works regularly with celebrities and has presented many one-man gallery shows. Images from his extensive stock photography collection have been published worldwide.
