In short, they changed my surgery procedure the day of the surgery and put me on the spot in doing so. Then when they owed me money, there was no one I could speak to for my refund. No one at their local branches have the authority to refund money.

will attempt to overcharge you!

First of they don t even have a system! Countless ties in the past Royal Dental overcharged me for my braces after we had a contract on how much I was going to pay. Every time I would go they would tell me I hadn t paid for my previous visit. Luckily I keep all my receipts and this was how I proved them wrong. Once I was even approached by a dental assistant giving me an attitude on how I hadn t paid and once I proved her wrong I did not get an apology what so ever all she said was ok . This place is just a complete joke and very unprofessional with their methods! I was taken teeth out after the Fact that I had already had my braces for almost 2 years!! definitely will not be going back after I get my braces removed and will warn people about this place! This place will definitely screw good people over and I have seen them do it to other patients!!!

This place is dirty. I chose t...

This place is dirty. I chose this location because it was close to my work. I had been to the Royal Dental in Baytown off of Garth and so I thought I would get the same clean and professional atmosphere as before. Boy was I wrong. My 1st clue (that should have sent me running in the other direction) was the receptionists' desk set right smack dab in the middle of the front entrance way and the patient waiting room. The desk looked like something my kindergarten teacher would have sat at back in the early 80's. So I signed in and had a seat but surprising enough, I was called back almost immediately. So at this point I'm thinking, "well at least they are timely". So I decided to give them the benfit of the doubt. Upon arriving in the exam room, I was quite appauled by what I saw there. The patient dental chair had rips and tears and the stuffing was hanging out of the cushion which happened to be secured with clear packing tape streched around the seat several times. So I had a seat and a few minutes later a dentist comes in, announces that she was going to get an assistant to help her and she would be right back. (Famous Last Words; I know!) 45 minutes I sit in this nasty place, starring at the walls that were tainted with a dingy yellowish tar and finally another dentist comes back in and begins working immediately. The exam took a total of 5 minutes and then I'm wisked back to the finacial office to discuss my treatment plan. What my insurance didnt cover I paid in advance, $850. I went back today to begin the work and this time was far worse than the last. I waited for 30 minutes after my appt. was to begin and the room they tried to put me in this time was far worse than the last. The chair this time had no rips however, it looked as if it were stuck in a sewer. I don't know what was holding this thing in place, but I wasn't hanging around to find out either. Now, I will have to wait 4-6 weeks for a refund and still need to have my tooth fixed.

This is a waiting game

This place is a big waiting game, expect at least 2 1/2 hrs. Though some of the staff are great it doesn't make up for the fact that they treat patients like a paychecks instead of people. I suggest that any looking for a dentist to look else where.
